Ductless mini-split heat pump or air conditioner systems are great to use for houses without a duct work system, additions to a home where extending duct work isn’t practical, or for individual rooms that can’t be adequately heated or cooled with a traditional forced air system.  Just like a standard heat pump, mini-splits have both an indoor and an outdoor unit.  However, the units are much smaller and take up less space.
