Temperature Zoning

IMG 0798EDTD 300x225 Temperature ZoningMany homeowners experience uncomfortable temperature differences and swings within their homes.  Upstairs might be too hot and downstairs might be too cold.  Rooms farther away from the furnace might have significant temperature differences from those closer to the furnace.  These are all natural incidences that occur within most homes, but they can be easily fixed.

Zoning systems are designed to be able to control the temperature within each zone in the home.  Zones are created by installing individual duct work mounted dampers, which give independent airflow to specific areas within the home, thus allowing you to control the comfort within each of them.  The average house in our area has anywhere from 2 to 4 zones, which are all controlled by individual thermostats.  So you can keep your bedrooms one temperature and your living room another, giving you perfect comfort in your entire home.
